1. Overview
Game Day Coach helps youth and club soccer teams manage rosters, schedules, lineups, live match tracking, team chat, and related coaching tools. Some features work on-device. Optional Pro features can sync team data through our cloud services (currently powered by Firebase).
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising.
2. Information we collect
Account and profile information
- Email address and display name
- Optional cell phone number (for account/contact features)
- Team role (for example: owner, coach, helper, player, parent)
- Authentication credentials handled by our identity provider (Firebase Authentication)
Team and coaching content you provide
- Team details (name, city, colors, season, formation preferences)
- Roster information (player names, jersey numbers, positions, skill ratings)
- Parent/guardian contact details you choose to store
- Schedule, lineup, attendance, and practice information
- Live game events, stats, injuries, cards, and substitution history
- Team chat messages and related moderation actions (report/block)
Device and app information
- Local app preferences stored on your device (for example, tutorial completion flags)
- Push notification tokens if you allow notifications
- Purchase/subscription status processed by Apple (we receive entitlement status, not your full payment card details)
3. How we use information
- Provide and operate Game Day Coach features
- Authenticate users and manage team membership / join codes
- Sync team data across devices when Pro cloud sync is enabled
- Send optional notifications about chat or team activity you choose to receive
- Process and restore App Store subscriptions
- Respond to support requests and protect the security of the service
- Improve reliability and fix bugs
4. Children’s privacy and youth sports data
Game Day Coach is intended for coaches, team staff, parents/guardians, and players participating in team management. Coaches and parents may enter youth player names and related team information.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 for marketing or independent accounts. If you believe a child’s information was submitted inappropriately, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Team organizers are responsible for obtaining any consents required by their club, league, or local law before uploading player or parent information.
5. Sharing of information
We share information only as needed to operate the product:
- Other members of your team — content you add (roster, schedule, chat, live game data) may be visible to teammates according to role permissions
- Service providers — currently including Apple (App Store / StoreKit) and Google Firebase (authentication, cloud database/sync, and related infrastructure)
- Legal requirements — if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process
- Business transfers — if Tsunami is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may transfer as part of that transaction
We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-app tracking advertising.
6. Data storage and retention
- Local team data may be stored on your device using the app’s local database
- Cloud-synced team data is retained while your team account remains active and as needed to provide the service
- You may request deletion of your account/data by contacting support
- We may retain limited records as required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or subscription accounting
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate for a consumer team-management app. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Please use a strong unique password and share join codes only with trusted team members.
8. Your choices
- Update account profile details in the app
- Control notification permissions in iOS Settings
- Leave a team or sign out
- Request access, correction, or deletion by emailing support@tsunamiexperience.com
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings
9. International users
Game Day Coach is operated from the United States. If you use the app from another country, your information may be processed in the U.S. and other locations where our service providers operate.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version at this URL and revise the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
